How to Choose the Best Assisted Living Facility.
Cost, Care and Closeness are the primary drivers in most people's decision when choosing an Assisted Living Facility. Cost is a big factor because, well, things are expensive and practical decisions need to be made. And with everyone promoting great care how do you decide? First check out Floridahealthfinder.gov. Its a great free resource and lets you quickly compare costs, but it's only a first step. There is no substitute for stopping by unannounced in person for a tour. Care is based on staffing and resident needs. Sure, there are other factors but without enough knowledgeable and caring staff, things will not go right! That's why we generally far exceed state staffing requirements and take good care of our staff; so they will take good care of you. Finally, we are a farm, with orchards, a large nature preserve and lots of animals for entertainment.
VIDEO TRANSCRIPT:
The video begins with a close-up of a garden fountain and bird house above it, with the sound of water pleasantly trickling from the fountain. The camera travels up the brick walkway, and across a narrow driveway, approaching the building housing 'A Country Place' Assisted Living Facility. Now the brick walkway continues up to the front door. The front yard has trees, grass and landscaping. The camera passes the mailbox situated near the driveway. The camera pans across a close-up of the building " A Country Place' which is a one-story traditional brick home with a chimney. It is a sunny day with blue skies and there are shady trees over the house. The camera pans to show additional one-story wing structures to the right of the main building. The camera pans back to the arrival at the green wooden front door of 'A Country Place'.
Why Choose A Country Home

Location
Southern Charm on the Farm means acres of wooded preserve, wetlands and orchards with Farm-to-Table family style dining.
Care
High staffing levels, a Licensed Nurse available full time, and a nationally credentialed Dementia Care staff are just some of the ways our standard of care exceeds industry standards.

Price
As a family-owned business we understand that care can be expensive and we will work hard to fit within your budget. We are credentialed with several area Medicaid Insurance Companies. We work well with the VA and price our care based on your loved one's Level of Care.
A Few of Our Services and Amenities
Assisted Living
We have created a compassionate environment that fosters independence. We have Supervised Assistance with prompting when needed, fun activities and great Farm-to-Table food.
Memory Care
There are over 100 forms of Dementia. Having a caring and supportive staff that understands Dementia treatment is essential.
DayCare
Daycare allows you to maintain your independence, while still allowing you access to great care, planned meals to fit your diet, and fun activities.
Respite Care
Because everyone needs a break, we offer overnight Respite Care. This service allows the family to deal with unexpected events while still providing a short term solution that is both rewarding and comforting.
A Word From Kind Hearts
This facility is a family owned and operated business that actually cares about their seniors. I searched high and low for a place for my father to call home. After meeting the staff and seeing the place we knew it was the place for my father.
